This is my list I plan to keep for games played and completed in 2023. About time to get to that backlog!

Completed! Midnight Suns hits a lot of fun notes for me. The DNA of Firaxis' XCOM franchise is in there, but is mixed into the power fantasy of what having a team of superheroes would be. It doesn't have the percentage of if an attack would hit or not like an XCOM would. It'll hit, but it's how you set up the aftermath of that hit that adds a nice layer to how you manage the flow of battle.
Really fantastic gameplay. I'm interested to see what the DLC will add to the game.

Been playing a Destiny game for years now. Sure, it's not a perfect game by any means. I've had some great moments and met good friends playing it. It'll have a soft spot in my gaming memories.

After the loss of Kevin Conroy, I went through a lot of watching Batman the Animated Series. This year, I'm working through the Arkham games. It's my way of remembering the man who lent his voice to the cartoons I'd rush home after school to watch.

Completed Broforce Forever when it came to Game Pass.
What a silly game. Great puns, everything explodes, and you fight the devil. What else can you ask for?

Really solid entry in the franchise.
Having an open world really helps you feel like you're making epic journeys to take down Lilith and the hordes of hell. Really enjoyed the story, combat felt solid. There's more that can be done to make seasons really pop, but not the worst start.

Ever since I played Yakuza 0, I've been pretty hooked on the Yakuza series.
Ishin has been so great. Sunk many, many hours into this story. Farming, the arena, chicken racing, etc. Making side stories that can entertain you just as much as the main story is right in the wheelhouse of Ryu Ga Gotou studio. Can't wait for more.
