Have the video game industry, fans,and the general public gotten so blind that Kinect to be a waste of R&D dollars and consumers time? Just because their isnt a controller doesnt mean your getting any different an experience from the competition(mini-games anyone?) Im no "hater" to companies that make something different and appealing to the mass market but if their isnt any serious work being done, whats the point? Why pay an extra $150 to get the same(if not worse) experience than the Wii. Atleast Nintendo has "hardcore" games on the system.  
Im willing to bet that Kinect is going to end up as a product we will look back on years from now and say "Man, Kinect really had potential" or "If they had just done "X" differently..." 
  
Gamers have a tendency to jump on-board of anything new regardless of the price or its worth. If Microsoft can run a good ad campaign I cant see the damn thing NOT selling. But that brings up the point of "sells=everything" thats plaguing the game industry.(and thats a blog all in itself) 
 
Personally, Im going to wait until they integrate Kinect into more games that I enjoy. If the Kinect ends up becoming the minigame machine I think it will, you can keep that BS to yourself.....
