A small rock. I got one in my eye about 2 weeks ago actually and it scratched up my cornea. Imagine every time you move your eye to look to the lower left, a sharp pain around your whole eyeball, and then instantly watering up and becoming extremely sensitive to light.
Luckily the eye heals itself quite fast and I was back to normal in just 5-7 days, with some antibiotic eyedrops just to be safe.
" @Meteora: even water isnt the best thing to get in your eye "
That rock I mentioned was in there for quite a while. To finally get it out, I filled a dixie cup with water, put it over my eye and tipped it up and started blinking like crazy. That got it out on the first try, so water can definitely be helpful sometimes :)
Lemon!! I had conguntivitis one day when i was younger, and OMG home remedy my auntie said she grabs a lemon and squeezes juice out of it into my eye!! MOTHER FUCK! that hurt!! But to be fair a pain that lasts like 1 minute, the sickness in my eye went pretty much hours after!!!

Conjunctivitis sucks so bad.
Lemon is probably effective but completely unnecessary, there are proper eye drops that work and DON'T cause searing pain
