Hello the is my first reply on this site, but I barely remember this game.
This was somewhere between 5-9 years ago. I think I was at a dave and busters or something like that. There was one game that was a touch-screen. You played as a knight and I think the main enemy killed your dad or friend or took your sword. Then you go up this big tower and fight floor bosses to get to the top and get revenge. It was pretty much a boss rush, but in between level you could buy new swords and armour. I remember it had like a gritty design almost like the orginal shadow of the colousus. It was also the 2nd or 3rd one in the series. It also got a mobile game I would say in 2014-2015. That's all I can remember, so I hope you can find it.
