This summer has been absolutely TERRIBLE for games. Other than the fantastic Bastion, I literally haven't played a decent game this summer. I hear Deus Ex is pretty damn good, though, so I may need to check that out. However, my point is, why do publishers always have to release the big games in october/november? Arkham City, Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Skyward Sword, Revelations, MW3, Battlefield 3, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D land... All in about a one-month time span. WTF? If one of these games simply released ahead of the others in Summer, wouldn't it do better? Or at least as well?
God. There's some stuff about the industry I just don't get.
