Yeah, so Giant Bomb is pretty awesome. And at the same time, wholly depressing.

See, myself and some friends of mine threw together a small "overly opinionated" game/movie/whatever site - The Internauts.net. It's mostly for us, and people who know us, but it was nice to see that we got a steady stream of visitors outside of our personal circles who seemed to enjoy our critical ripping. In fact, I got several nice e-mail's in regards to the feature I did only two days into E3 last week, where I took on the 5 Biggest Disappointments of E3 2008. However, I'd be the first to admit that I know fuck all about HTML, so our site isn't the most unshakable thing on the WWW in terms of being able to easily update, backlog, and or add something without breaking the entire layout.

This is why GB is both totally inspiring, and terribly dispiriting. The good does out-weigh the bad, however. Giant Bomb looks like it's going to be one of the first game communities I'll attempt to be active in, and is easily the first that I want to be active in. The GB gang knows what's going on, and I'm proud to be a part of what will surely be one of the fastest growing communities of game players online.
