I feel ya man. I lived in Japan for two years, and just got back from another year in Taiwan. I love Asia to death, but television is not it's strong suit. 
Can you stream Netflix from where you are? Something to look into for sure.

Roughly 28 hours.

For spring break one year I drove straight from St. Paul, MN, to Portland, OR. I left at 4PM, and got there roughly 10PM the next day.

Beautiful drive, but it got to be a little trippy watching the sun set, rise, then set again.

How do you do it? Energy drinks and cigarettes.
