I think part of the entertainment value is watching how the next player deals with the mess the previous player left. I don't think they expected to win the game.
Not even sure why I bother reading the comment section anymore, it's just filled with "salt" about something that at the end of the day is supposed to be entertaining not pro level gameplay.
This isn't really about how 'good' their skills are, it's more like we're watching a relay race with one team full of people we're rooting for, it's going quite well but it gets to the third person they take the baton and walk at a leisurely stroll, winking and shrugging at the crowd saying 'I don't want to pull a muscle!' and ruining the team's chances in the process. If he'd actually tried to get the best team outcome nobody would have problems with him losing two people (look at Abby's genuine attempts that resulted in the same loss).
Ben has this really annoying habit of wandering around aimlessly while trying to keep a conversation going and it makes this series gimmick really painful. I'm glad they're doing something to make the boring parts interesting until this game finally gets going, but please keep playing!
I think he was wandering around to find what would trigger the Donald and Goofy scenes so he could continue.
There's nothing fun about spending time whacking inanimate objects in the world to farm resources. It's a shame that they had to include that type of crafting in the game.
I can't believe after all of these years how slow the game still is. I can't stand having to button through 4 text boxes between attacks. It drives me nuts!
