Really enjoying this game right now.  The story is terrific, and the gameplay is just different enough to make this a truly fun gaming experience!!

Picked up this game today and started it tonight . . . so far it is a great game, but I thought I remembered reading that it had "gorgeous graphics" . . . the graphics are pretty par for this kind of game, maybe even a little below.  So far an enjoyable entertainment experience all in all.

Well I was flying through the achievements for this game rather quickly, but I am stumbling on the Wall of Recognition achievement (get a gold medal on every mission).  The Flood and Shield World missions are proving to be impossible to get a gold medal on for me.  I can't figure out why really . . . I have played them both on Normal and Easy and my best so far has been silver.  Getting pretty frustrated with these 2 damned missions!!!

I was hoping that the Flyers would carry some momentum over from their historic game 7 win over the Boston Bruins, and they certainly didn't disappoint.  After a somewhat slow start, the Flyers exploded for 6 goals (4 before chasing Montreal's superb net-minder Jaroslav Halak) and having a statement game against the Cinderella Habs.  I still would not be surprised to see this series go 7 games, but now the Flyers go into game 2 with a ton of confidence, knowing that if they play their game a trip to the Finals is all but assured.  Complacency is the biggest danger for the Flyers right now.  They have to continue to work hard for loose pucks and have an aggressive forecheck if they want to get to the Finals sooner rather than later (or at all for that matter).

The Flyers continue their quest for the Cup tonight, this time against "Les Habitantes" from Montreal.  The Canadiens have had a phenomenal run so far themselves this year, knocking off the #1 seed as well as the defending Champs, so this will be no easy task for the boys in orange.

Popped 2 more this morning already . . . they continue to come pretty easily . . . more an investment in time than anything else.  I know that the online ones will be harder to get however.

The Flyers became just the 3rd team in NHL history to come back from an 0 - 3 deficit and win a 7 game series tonight.  Seemed like destiny as they went down 0 - 3 in the game (just like in the series) came back to tie it at 3 -3 (just like in the series) and eventually won it 4 - 3 (the final games tally of the series).  They host the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday night in the COnference Finals . . . it is also the first time in NHL history that a 7 and 8 seed have met in the finals!!!

Rolling through the achievements now . . . some of the online/co-op ones might be hard to find a partner for but I am sure I will get them done.

The Flyers have shown tremendous heart in forcing a game 7 in their series against Boston.  Funny to think that they will have home ice advantage against Montreal if they beat Boston on Friday night!

The Flyers definitely showed up to play last night . . . do they have to be facing elimination to play their best hockey?  Hopefully they can pull another one out at home and force a game 7!!!
