I think I'm right with you in your thoughts about Hypnospace Outlaw as well. It's by far my number one game of the year and I love it to death for the reasons you've mentioned. The whole thing was a huge punch to the nostalgia center of my brain, bringing back all those memories of the Geocities and message board communities I was a part of, and all of the stupid drama that went with them.

It's great to hear some Death Stranding discussion that isn't breathless hyperbole. I like the game a lot and its one of my favourites of the year, but I'm not going to tell anyone its a flawless work of genius or anything.
The hockey definitely does look better and I like how fast it is. This year I'll still wait 10 months before I buy it for $20 but maybe now I won't immediately regret it!
Watching the Madden and NBA 2k videos lately has made me a little jealous that we'll never get any sort of single player story mode. I would love for more of a focus on that or even some improvements to the GM mode because I never play this online. Sucks that I'm in the minority in that by far I guess.
TSN gets the scraps in regards to broadcasting games. Sportsnet (owned by Rogers) has the national contract and subleases games to CBC for Hockey Night in Canada. TSN gets whatever mid-week small market games. However, TSN's hockey experts, panel and commentary are so much better, knowledgable, and good humour.
I suppose it depends on what team you're following. The majority of Jets (and Canadiens and Senators?) games are on TSN and it's great... but Sportsnet still does all the playoffs and its excruciating.
