I always read the beginning section about updates on site goings on, and consider it indispensable, and extremely useful! Thank you very much for giving us the weekly overview, and sure hope you're getting properly compensated for doing so. To be truthful, I also continue to have zero interest in what the "community" is up to. It sure seems like a huge effort to keep doing that part, though. I personally would not miss it if that entire section went away.
GB got to hire Kayla. She didn't get to display it much in this crowded stream, but she's just the perfect amount of Dan energy without some of the Ryckert excess. She would be an awesome permanent addition.
This one took a while to post, but I made a mental note to make a comment when it did, to offer praise: really great guest. Knowledgable, and a veritable prop comic with all the game boxes. I'm sure I had more to say when this episode was still fresh in my mind but … uh, anyway, bring them back often!
Ubisoft+ is also a pretty reasonable deal when you consider they always include the most premium, deluxe editions of their games with all the subsequent DLCs, which is very much not the case with Game Pass even for first party titles. No more mental energy expended on considering if some expansion pack is worth picking up; whatever, it's all there already anyway.
Cannot imagine why you would want to keep up a subscription for an extended amount of time, such as all year round, but for holding a marathon month of Assassin's Creed / Far Cry / Watch Dogs it's a hell of a deal. Last year they gave away a month for free, and I used it for playing through Far Cry 6 plus Watch Dogs Legion and its expansion without spending a dime. All my spare time that month had to be spent on Ubisoft, haha, but it was a rather good time all in all. Definitely would not have regretted actually paying the Ubisoft+ asking price for it, but since I'm never in a hurry to play games on release, I might as well do it when it's free or heavily discounted.
Kind of works for me, though streaming it only plays at a lousy quality 720p, if at a welcome 60 fps. The best download option on the other hand nets a sweet 4K 60fps! I hope the streaming version gets that option too.
I also watched live, and the best there was 1080p 30fps. A little all over the place in regards to quality. I'll keep hope alive for that 4k/60 all the time, in all the places.
For anyone wondering, yes, this is appears to be the archive of the second half of Jeff's Dec 16 twitch stream, where in the first part he played the Gunk. That part was already put up on the site back then.
Fine, I'll extend, guess why not. Would be hard to pretend it's a meaningful amount of money per year, but equally as hard to feign excitement for GB present & foreseeable future. Grubb is great, Lucy & Tam are enjoyable, and Danny is always welcome, hopefully with less solo content. Also cool to have Ben back, only wishing it was more than voicemail dumptruck. Jan I hope to watch on video game content (Pokémon!) more often, not saddled with editing shows I couldn't care less about. Rorie is of course the cog that keeps everything working, and I'll always love him for creating Matt Rorie's Alpha Protocol.
And Jeff G is still a threat but it will take more years than this upcoming one for all those kids to leave more of him for us.
OnlyFans without porn would be like MTV without music videos!
In all the finger pointing at Visa & Mastercard, it's weird to see American Express never even warrant a mention, anywhere. And that is precisely because they've instituted a blanket ban on payments to adult services so very long ago, it's almost lost to the haze of history, and as such were never an option in the Pornhub/OnlyFans era. Amex must be having quite the laugh now, "haha, you guys getting all the bad PR now, guess you must be wishing you were fucking over sex workers since time eternal, too." They deserve your scorn every bit as much, and even more, than Visa/Mc.
With OnlyFans, especially in hindsight of how swiftly they did their about-face on their rule changes, it's looking pretty clear pointing fingers at banks or payment processors was only a "would you kindly hate on them, not us" scapegoat bullshitting this time. It was all about sweet talking those investors.
Tam: Sasha Grey retired from porn over a decade ago. If we are to namecheck pornstars doing Twitch, there are plenty still active in the industry. Just kinda rubs me a bit the wrong way for someone who has changed their careers that long ago to forever be associated with their past.
Disclaimer: I currently subscribe to two creators on OnlyFans via Mastercard.
