@nukleon: It looks bad because it's all interlaced for a CRT, you need a filter to display it properly on an LCD. I play my PS1 on my CRT TV all the time, it looks fine and sharp like all these old consoles did.
@pogman: Boy, I can't wait for the day a game comes out that lives up to your unrealistically high standards.
It just looks bad, vehicles are spawned from spinning UI on the Battlefield.... dumb, the shooting looks bad because lasers... the flying (I've seen in other videos) looks bad, that ATAT looks so dull and the map is barren with nowhere to go and that's why the Rebels have no chance.
DICE don't do good level design, their old games used to have SDKs and they were saved by the map creators and modders. Now though their games suck, you get like one good map at launch, then you have to effectively pay for the game twice with Premium to get a few good maps in the map packs. They refuse to do an SDK because they want to milk everyone, instead of build their community like what Valve would do, they just kill it off every year with a new game. Their engine sucks, their netcode sucks, their characters over animate and just look so stupid and for some reason ever since BF3, their destruction has just been made into visual fluff, where BFBC2 you could flatten the whole thing.
To top it off they've ruined Battlefront, you should be running around and gunning and having fun. Instead you're just taking cover and being sniped and not having fun... that isn't Battlefront and so far all the maps are so barren that it might as well be a Trench Warfare WW1 simulator.
Give me Battlefront 2 back instead, much better than this crap.
@humanity: Isn't that business practice more accepted than ever before? Many of those dying MMOs have reinvented themselves with the heavy microtransaction model and have come back and done really well if not better.
Destiny isn't an MMO for one.
I'm so not interested in genre arguments.
It isn't an argument, it isn't an MMO.
Guild Wars was never an MMO, neither was Phantasy Star Online, they're just online games with a 3D hub instead of a server browser.
See previous comment.
Well don't call it an MMO in the first place and admit you were wrong... simples.
