Things are kinda sparse now, but once late Sept. gets here we'll have like 10 months of highly anticipated releases....should be an interesting ride :).
Against my better judgement, I preordered the prestige today,lol. I just said fuck it...it's something so novel and extravagent, plus it drops a day b4 my B-day.... w/the release date delivery Amazon offers.....it better get here on time :S.
I play on a 50" DLP. As far as plasma sets, in general they do have lightning fast response times compared to LCD and no motion blur so they are condusive to great game performance...and they also have burn-in prevention features now virtually eliminating that issue.
No prestige on Amazon, but the other 2 are there w/release date delivery. I'm just curious how much....if those goggles are functional they are very expensive...hhhhmmmm..this edition must be another retailer specific limited release i guess.
Rainbow 6: Vegas 1 or 2? You can have 4 total if yur playin Terrorist hunt btw. And too bad about L4D, it absolutely rocks in splitscreeen couch co-op.
One thing in Tiger 10's favor is the new putting system. The old one in 08 was freakin broken. Otherwise the swing stick is def more sim, at least in tournament req. play. I like it much better than 08 that I traded in.....can't really say about 09. There's always the 09 demo to try like others have suggested I spose if cash is a constraint.
IGN by far, but I still go to Gametrailers off and on. I only use Gamespot for the gamsfaqs stuff/boards. I love GB for the bombcasts, gameplay previews, and these forums especially.
I play co-op games pretty much exclusively online, such as Gears 1&2, Rainbow 6:Vegas 1&2(t-hunting is most amazing), and all the Halo games, but I got the rare chance to play Left For Dead local co-op w/an old friend recently. It was flat out awesome. That game is so seemless for co-op even in split screen. I love how you can take a break and the AI takes over....epic local co-op experience imo.
The house in Skingrad was my main 20, although I bought all the available houses, including the castle on DLC. I had every chest/weapon cases in the Skingrad house full of shit....I kept(or tried to keep)every extra version of all types of armor and almost all keys, weapons, scrolls etc. there. 330+ hrs on one character will do that I guess, lol.
