Alex is living dangerously with all those renegade choices. The game tests the ratio between achievable paragon and renegade points at key moments. He'll have trouble keeping everyone loyal if he keeps this up.
It's really a shame how the game rushes to trigger the loyalty mission if your renegade/paragon score is high enough. It skips over a lot of important dialogue, like Thane explaining the Drell perfect memory. I guess you can get that dialogue later, but then it's all out of sync.
This could be a fine game but it doesn’t look like it caters to BioWare’s core audience at all. It doesn’t do anything for me that there are other people running around in the game, I want an interesting world, fun NPCs with interactions and a good story. Why have BW make this kind of game?
It is crazy how much game design has stagnated. If you think about the nine year gap between 1998 and 2007 (when COD4: MW first came out) compared to the next nine years between 2007 and 2016, so much happened in that first period and so little has happened since.
