this may have been answered but what phones will be the videos be able to play on???? Ive got a blackberry torch with the new webkit browser and they're not loading.  also seems like when on the video section its crashing my browser

" Hmm, enjoying the comments so far.  I am really, really tempted to pay, except that I don't really care if the videos are in 720p, if I can download an ER to my hard drive, if there is a Friday live show that I can't watch live anyways, if the rest of WhiskeyMedia is involved...  None of those appeal to me.  The full bombcast? Yes.  Supporting an awesome, well run, independent site? Yes.  A free t-shirt? Yes.  I love this site, and am not at all opposed to paying for site subscriptions if the content is worthwhile, but the "upgraded features" here don't appeal to me the way I use the site. "

Why not just have a 15 second ad a couple times during the bombcast. Take out the break music and play a little ad for a Halo flavored soda or whatever and keep going. Loads of podcasts do that. No one cares about a minute of ads in a 2 hour bombcast and it would be desireable to ad companies I'd imagian. Considering how many downloads that is a week. "

this thread further enforces that i'm never posting/running a website ever again.  Ive done similar things giant bomb has done on smaller local websites(not making people pay) and no matter if it involves money or not if it involves change and people posting from the safety of their computer people will be dicks and complain until no tomorrow.    As a person whos experienced what giantbomb is getting now all you guys are doing is further making whiskey media and the staff members care less and less about making this is a fun exciting website for everyone.  Obviously everyone is entitled to an opinion but jesus if you dont like it then just move on, your life isnt going to be ruined because of a website.
