Man, I'm kinda bummed that Jeff and Jason picked "retro costumes" on most of the characters they played in this QL, I think it might have made for a bad showing to people who haven't seen KI before. Those costumes all look terrible compared to the default rebooted designs, most of which I actually really like.
Like, why would you want to remind people of KI1 and KI2?
Superman is an unstoppable force that can fly around the Earth in minutes. His very existence changes the way world conflict and crime even works. He's also an American, and the US knows that controlling Superman is the single most important thing in the world theater. Forget mutually-assured destruction, Superman can shut down and retaliate against a nuclear strike from anywhere on the planet.
Agility orbs in Crackdown. You jump around an area, collecting all the orbs you can. The orbs give you experience, and eventually you level up your jumping ability. Then, you jump around the same area with your newfound ups collecting the orbs that were just out of reach before.
There's something extremely satisfying about how immediately you see the benefits of that agility upgrade. No matter where you are when you level up, there's bound to be at least one orb in your sight that you had to "let go" because you couldn't reach and now you can.
