  • I'll take a schlocky Alien Sci-Fi over a schlocky High-Fantasy RPG whenever the opportunity presents itself...which is roughly every two or three years whenever Bethesda and Bioware release games in a similar release window.

  • It could be argued that presentation and atmosphere are primarily what Limbo has to offer, but few games are able to unify these two disparate elements into such a cohesive package that unfolds in such an abstract fashion. This game does require a rather subtle sophisticated pallet to appreciate, otherwise you may find yourself comparing it to Super Meatboy and coming up short in the process.

  • The story got too convoluted and contrived for its own good, and didn't utilize the setting and thriller elements to it's complete advantage, but the game beneath it all still shines (I made a funny) and the spooky visual effects are nifty.

  • A surprise entry on my list. It's polished and fun to play. It could have done away with the Heavy Metal atmosphere and edgy themes in my personal opinion, we already have enough games pushing the envelope with D&D cheese.

  • I need to finish this game, but what I have played has sold me.

  • Good sport.

  • The game looks good and is fun to play. Not much else.

  • I actually prefer Bioshock 2 to the first. Speaks volumes to how shitty the hacking mini-game was in the first.

  • Takes a step in the right direction for the franchise. Now they just need to kill off Sam Fischer and come up with a more interesting story and cast of characters.

  • Had I finished the game I might have placed it higher or lower, but 10 isn't a bad spot, so...
