Yeah, custom soundtracks would be great. Space-rock/techno gets old after a while.

I still have the soundtrack on CD from C&C1. Not the best music in the world, but still fun to listen to once in a while.

My love for the RTS-genre started over 15 years ago, with Dune 2. My brother got it, and together we played it for hours. Since then I've played most high-profile RTS-games that have been released on PC.

The last few years I've lost a little interest, though. Why? Because lately the things I love the genre for have been thrown away. I'm talking about earning the right to use powerful units.

The best thing about Dune 2 was to play a mission, get a new mission briefing, and maybe a new unit. I still remember when I got the huge Harkkonen tank, it was awesome. But if you play for example C&C 3, you have every unit available from the start. Booooring.

That's why I love the recently released StarCraft 2. Not only do you get an engaging narrative between missions, you also get to choose what mission to do next. Different missions get you different units.

Just got my Ravens, got to get back to playing...

I love you, Blizzard.

I would be interested in paying for a yearly subscription plan. But, please don't include 'US-only' features. Advertising with 'FREE T-SHIRT' doesn't cut it if a large portion of your audience won't recieve it.

Hmm, I really didn't like this demo. It was too hectic, everywhere you went enemies were crawling. And I died defending a beacon, when I leveled up my shooting-skill and my character freezes in the levelup-animation while everyone is shooting at me...

Hope this is not indicative of the full game. I remember hating the original demo as well, but ended up loving the full game.

Still going strong on my first 360. Of course, now I have cursed it by posting this...

Hmm, maybe it's time for me to try out a point-and-click-adventure on a console, never played the old Sam & Max-games.
