Just as an FYI, not only can you pick guys up off the ground when in beast style, you can also repeatedly grab and then throw if you keep hitting circle by their feet.

Also, Beast style has an atomic drop heat move when grabbing from behind (hit L1 after grabbing to switch behind or front)
