I don't think most of us realize how hard it is to show off a game to an audience, knowing you are being recorded and a good number of people will watch you. Like, say, with tutorials. Brad could take a while reading the tutorials and practicing, but also people may be bothered that he's taking so long. For example, they get that when they are in menus for an extended period of time. I imagine it's really hard to find a good balance. I think their audience would benefit in remembering that before heading into the comments.
I dunno, I've watched multiple streamers who were at the same event as Brad and came away with correct information. Max Dood, Jesse Cox, etc.
Thanks for posting this man, it took courage to do so and you're a great writer. The initial tweet was unfortunate but the even bigger bummer was how she doubled down on it. I thought she would have the clarity to realize that what she posted could affect people other than the subjects of the tweet, which makes the "they won't even see this" line more unfortunate.
We all need to be better about this kinda thing. Not just Abby, but definitely me as well...all of us, really. We've all said things like this without thinking about who it might affect. I believe we can be better, we just have to be more conscientious about what we say.
@novum: Right there with you, man. The biggest example of this so far in this episode when they're all talking loudly over/not watching a very funny Salazar cutscene (the pit trap and grappling hook one). Only Abby was paying attention to it and it really bums me out. If I were her, I'd be getting pretty mad at the others for doing that while I'm trying to experience the game for the first time.
Pretty sure Jefferson is the big bad guy here. He's been saying some shady shit since the first lecture of the entire game, if you pay close attention. Guarantee Nathan is just a cog in some creepy Jefferson thing.
