I don't think that fog is a bug, I think it's meant to create some tension. I don't think it's done well, mind you, but I think the look-outs are supposed to handle the hostiles the ground team can't see. In that way, the ground team and the look-outs have to coordinate their attack.
Again, I think it's poorly done, but I think it's deliberate.
It's definitely a bug. I've never experienced fog like that. And then there's the fact that 2 of them don't even see it. They're running into a whole lot of issues on pc, they'd have had a much better time if they played on a ps4 or x1.
I think the reason ALex and Vinny didn't see it was because they were the look-outs, and were supposed to escort the ground team in and out of the farm. So in that way I definitely think it was deliberate, albeit poorly executed. As I edited in though, the stuff before and after the farm sure looks broken.

Edit: Okay, upon watching further the fog on the farm seems deliberate but just before and after... Geez, that's gotta be something wrong with that.
