To me, the biggest thing missing from these discussions is the passion and energy when they talk about their favorite games of the year - since there's no need for it anymore. Yes, the old arguing did sometimes get out of hand but it was still way more exciting. You'd find that one game you love and hear someone defend it Austin walker-style and it was delicious validation that was unmatched anywhere on the internet. Very sad that's gone now (at least for the first 3 days - who knows, maybe better in categories?). Bummed

Just adding my voice to the chorus requesting the crew to finish this playthrough! GB East playing through the full games like this, Until Dawn, TLC, or Contradiction are my most favorite content pieces on this site (by FAR) - so here's hoping that this one gets finished, too.

Happy for the folks that like Mario Maker content. All GB content was an automatic watch for me until about a year ago. Now, GB East is an automatic watch and GB West is maybe once a month... Not a complaint, though, as there is so much good content coming from GB East that it's enough for me to keep my Premium going forever.

Seems like all the enemy spawns and timing of boss attacks are pretty fixed (i.e. attacks come at fixed intervals), why not just count the seconds out on boss battles? And why does Dan insist on jumping into slow-moving attack paths? Love the series, but quickly losing interest as it's so frustrating to watch repeatedly failing the same things.

Huge props to Abby for bringing up the GoW misogyny and hammering it home - it deserves to be aired out. Seeing from the comments, it generated a lot of discussion which will hopefully open the eyes of some to issues that don't personally affect them. I'm a straight white male, and at some point was just as blind, but discussions like these changed me for the better.

GoW COULD have made different character design choices with female characters - they chose not to; and it's simple as that. Ignore the haters, Abby - the vast majority of people support you and applaud your bravery to speak out in a male-dominated community (and workplace). Your voice is much needed now that Austin is not with GB - thank you.

It's ok - not every feature will be a knock-out. Sure, 2018 had this and Star Spangled Garbage, but we also had 13 Deadly Sims, Mass Alex, Exquisite Corps, and Get In The Ring - more than enough out of GBEast alone to keep me happy. GBEast content is stellar 9/10 times with non-recurring features, too, and has been outshining GBWest from the start; let's let them know it's ok to have a lemon once in a while.

Pretty rare to find a video where the comments are literally 98% positive and supportive - speaks to how much of a feel-good feature it was. Great work, all!
