Intense gameplay is enough to overshadow flaws in UFC 2009. 0

Ultimate Fighting is one of the fastest growing phenomenons in the world. It's growing in fanbase, it's growing in assets, it's growing in talent, and it's growing in entertainment. It's huge, and it's going to continue to improve upon itself as time moves forth. An unfortunate trend that comes with popularity, is a videogame to match up with the real life counterpart. UFC is large enough to get that said videogame tie-in, as UFC 2009: Undisputed was released late May 2009. Was getting THQ and Y...

Gears of War 2 has weakened the punch, but it can still kill you. 0

Gears of War was one of the first Xbox 360 title to truly blow away the competition. The Unreal Engine 3 was an unmatched beast that nobody could compete with, and in terms of sheer entertainment and production values, Gears of War was a mind numbing and visceral experience. Gears of War 2, arriving two years later had some lofty expectations to live up to, some big shoes to fill. However, in those two years, developers have had the opportunity to truly understand this generation of consoles. Wh...

Great visuals and controls make Euro 08 a winner, unlike England. 0

Euro 2008 is underway, and that means another blatant rip off advertisement of a videogame, right? The best thing about this impressive soccer game, are its surprisingly outstanding graphics. Everything looks incredible. The great pla...

Oh noes 0

Haze. My personal most anticipated game of the year. It's good, don't get me wrong, it's a very capable shooter, but it is just so undoubtedly average and inconsistent, that it disappoints beyond belief. I could have easily given Haze big points off for letting me down so horribly, as I write this review totally heartbroken, but I decided to let it go. It does have reasonable merits, but I really have to wonder where the hell the Free Radical shine and polish went, in this shooter that could've ...

Bad Company is golden. 0

War never takes itself lightly. Sometimes the soldiers do. Of course, I'm talking about the latest Battlefield game from DICE and EA, Battlefield: Bad Company. Preston Marlowe finds himself headed to B Company, where the US Army sends all of their "loose cannon" expendable soldiers. He meets up with his squad, Sweet water, Haggard, and Redford. The four of them are just trying to get by the next few days smoothly, so that Redford can retire in peace. They find themselves battling Russians in a ...
