Hello, Giant Bomb. I am a 1up refugee, and I am sad and without a blogging home. If you don't know, 1up was an IGN branded site where you could blog, post in forums, write reviews, and all that other fun stuff. I was pretty active on that site for the past four years, but now it's closing down.

So I'm looking for a new home. Will it be Giant Bomb? I don't know. I like this site. It's all modern and stuff. ;)

My name is Matt, and I live in Arizona. I was born in 1977, about the same time video games were born, I guess, and I've grown up as they've grown up. I have a special affection for the NES and the Genesis, the PSONE, the Dreamcast, and now the PS3. I also love the two Xbox's and the Wii's, etc. I mostly play my PS3 now, with a spattering of Wii and Gamecube (yes, I have them both set up....)

As far as new games are concerned, I've been playing Last Story, and am hoping to pick up Etrian Odyssey next week when it comes out for the 3DS. I am a big fan of JRPG's, and am also playing Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, for my PSP, which I love more every day. I recently downloaded the on sale Final Fantasy Tactics, though I had it for my iPad, but I wanted to play it with buttons.

I hope to also play Ni No Kuni soon. I think the game I am most looking forward to is GTA V (God help me) and Final Fantasy X HD.
