@amyggen: @amyggen: I agree, this big stage would have been a good mainstream marker to put down. What I would say though is that VR, like has been previously said, is hard to show on a big stage show where you have limited time. Do a dedicated event, get people there. It doesn't matter if there preaching to the already converted, they are the ones who are going to buy, there your early adopters.
To the people complaining about lack of real in-depth VR segment, do you think Sony will have a their own proper dedicated one in the future. I'm going to go out on a limb and say, of course they will!!
In terms of an E3, this couldn't have been much better. I don't want tech specs at E3, I want mad trailers and some great looking game play videos. Both of which were given very generously.
In terms of exclusives, Sony is still sh1tting all over everyone else. (Rooting for Nintendo though)
By issuing these incremental upgrades you are segmenting your consumer base between low-models and high models thus creating a "class" divide where there wasnt one before. The beauty of consoles is there ubiquity, the shared collective experience no matter the person who owns it. There is a now a division between those who have and those who have not. Well done videogames.
