This was a game that I had been looking forward to since I finished the first Portal and this one was not a let down in anyway. In fact I was pleasantly surprised with how much better this sequel was.

Come on its Elder Scrolls, I love them all so much. Roaming the country side and fighting dragons was an experience that took far too much of my time.

Such a beautiful game in so many ways. I loved the music and how it was like playing in an oil painting. The way the story was told through the narrator was fantastic. Definitely the best downloadable game of the year.

What a surprise this game was! I couldn't stop playing. I had to see the absurdity of the next thing. I knew this was a game of the year contender when the music kicked in for the final mission. I had the biggest smile the whole time I was playing Saints Row: The Third.

Double Fine is awesome this year. This game was funny and incredibly addicting to play. I just wanted to fill all the bars after every level.

I love 2D fighting games, even though I am pretty terrible at them. I was so very pleased to finally play a Mortal Kombat game that I liked again. Not only that but the story mode of this game was better than the movies.

I am a sucker for open-world super power games and this one is pretty great.

Gears of War 3 felt like a good conclusion to the story that was set up during the series. I also loved the improvements to Horde mode.

I know this game came out in 2010, but with new tables released through 2011 it has stayed on my play list.
