I was on the fence about this game - looked neat, but I could smell the inevitable jank even before real news came out about it. I love atmosphere and art, possibly more than any other aspect of a game, but if what makes up the atmosphere is cringe-worthy, forced "grime," then it just won't feel genuine enough to hook me. Bugs and glitches happen and get patched out. But a poorly realized world is permanent. I hate to say it, but I think the Jeffs officially knocked this one off my "to look out for" list. At least for a good long while.
I haven't played an AC game since Brotherhood, and watching this, I think I'm finally ready for another. Everyone says "it's just like the last two" but... I didn't play the last two. I'm ready to be pleasantly surprised.
