Dan was actually really good in this. I think he understands role playing much better than he realizes.
It helps that Austin basically gave him the best possible character and setting. Like, if this was elves and a magical curse, it might have been a tougher buy-in, but "pretend to be a cool action movie guy doing cool guy stuff" is about as Dan as it gets!
Yakuza 0, Persona 5, Horizon Zero Dawn, Nioh, Hollow Knight, Sonic Mania, Prey, Resident Evil 7, Pyre, Divinity Original Sin II, Hellblade, Assassin's Creed Origins, Uncharted Lost Legacy.
None of these great games made it to a list of the ten best games of 2017, but somehow Dream Daddy did. What?!
Yeah, you took the words right out of my mouth. I'd also put most of those over Tekken 7 or Destiny 2, but Dream Daddy being on this list when none of those are is incomprehensible.
Okay, they spent a lot of time talking about Persona 5, and I thank them for that... buuuut. They still missed two of the best songs. Price and Layer Cake, just perfect dungeon and shop music, respectively.
