I’m super excited for this but at the same time terrified having it all available in one go will prove to be too much. The episodic nature of the previous game worked really well for it (although not froma business perspective obviously) and I worry having all the content available from the start will mean people burn out on it much quicker.
Every time I see Onrush I think about buying it but it has the feel of a game that won’t maintain a player base beyond a couple of months so I can’t justify it at full price
I want to like anything these guys do but they aren’t making it easy. Crash mode in Burnout was cool as one part of a very good game, I don’t feel like a slimed down version of it is enough to warrant a whole game by itself even at a low price. I’m interested to see what they do with what I assume is a bigger game in Dangerous Driving but seeing their 3 projects so far be pretty mediocre doesn’t fill me with confidence
My favourite thing about watching these is when one of the crew says something during a trailer and I assume it’s part of it. This time it was Jeff saying ‘Football’ in the middle of the Madden trailer which would have made it 300% better
I have never quite understood the widespread fear of cockroaches. Yeah they are unclean and need to be dealt with but I don’t know why people are genuinely terrified of them, they can’t do you and direct physical harm
I’m one of those weirdos who enjoys games with encumbrance and inventory limits. If forces you to make choices on where you are going to focus yourself instead of just picking up everything and becoming an unstoppable killing machine.
