No, because that;s the persons view of the game. Others may not feel the same, but if the majority of the reviews are calling a game "bad" then there must be something up with the game, not the person reviewing it.

I think a "bad review" is one that badly justifies it's score (ex. giving a game 5/5 despite the entire article being criticism or filling your review with marketing schlock) or stuff like poor grammar etc., not one that you disagree with.

It looks kind of chunky and ugly. I wouldn't be surprised if this concept is legitimate but I expect that it will see some form of refinement by its actual release.

@chaser324:

Marston reuniting with his family only sets up the heartwrenching tragedy of his murder at the hands of the government. His wife passes away soon after that incident. In addition his only son Jack becomes a cold hearted killer. How is that not tragic?

I'm liking this series. I usually don't entirely agree with the pieces but that makes for good discussion. Good job guys!

@video_game_king:

I think your wording is a bit crass but I agree with you. Most stories have protagonists that at least somewhat mirror the mores of mainstream society.

@winternet:

I don't believe it has anything to do with the maturity level of the industry and everything to do with what the mainstream audience finds appealing. Also I've played at least a few games with tragic endings.

Red Dead Redemption is a perfect example of a tragic ending.

That may have been a joke but his comments about how Far Cry 3 looks on 360 were clearly not. I just finished the game on that platform and found no glaring issues with it whatsoever. Yeah it doesn't look as good as the PC version, big surprise.

It's alright Brad I still think you're cool. Just try to tone the hyperbole down a bit okay?

As a professional tall man (6'9'') I've looked in to tall clubs. To be a member of Tall Club International you have to be 6'3''.

Do you think I could squeeze in? I'm just under 6'3".

Actually come to think of it maybe I wouldn't want to be low man on the totem pole :P

Just a quick question. How is changing Dante into an emo punk innovative?

If innovation is just changing the personality of a character or taking out a previously included feature I think the word is maybe being used a bit too loosely.

Maybe what you should have asked is, "Do we actually want change?"
