There was a song on the Day 2 stream, right before the Respawn segment (around the 1:12:30 mark) - kind of a bluesy/country jam - anyone know what it is? I kinda dig it but haven't been able to identify it.
Don't want it, don't need it. I finally unplugged the Kinect that I never use because as I was watching the Xbox press conference, every time someone said Xbox it freaked out. I can yell at the damn thing all day with no response but some guy on the tv says something that sound remotely like a command and it listens. Though the voice commands in ME3 actually worked nicely.
I finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn in a day last Sunday because I could not put it down. It definitely lived up to the hype (still over 100 holds on that book in my local library system). Next up, NOS4A2 by Joe Hill. And a few digital photography books because I bought a compact system camera (Panasonic GF3) that I have no idea how to use.
Well, there is going to be a new Sherlock game at E3, so Justin McElroy. Even if he doesn't see the new Sherlock, Justin McElroy. Also, John Drake, Eric Pope, and Brad Muir. And Justin McElroy.
He could be doing something else that would be more entertaining to more people.
Every time I think of The Daily Dota I'm reminded of the argument that, one of the reasons they don't do Endurance Runs is because of the time investment involved in doing daily content of that sort that it simply makes it impractical, at best. Altogether with today's stream, Brad's put about 18 hours of DOTA on this site within two weeks. That's around just two and ahalf hoursless than the time it took Vinny and Jeff to play through Deadly Premonition, and that took two months, of episodes that weren't even actually recorded every day. Not to be one of those people who screams for a new Endurance Run, but.. wouldn't that be more appealing to more people?
Except an Endurance Run would take more overall staff time than just Brad running an hour or so daily stream by himself.
Idiot pedestrians. I live in a town with a lot of crosswalks and pedestrians and it kills me when I see someone who would rather wait in the rain to jaywalk across a street than walk 5 feet to cross safely in the crosswalk. I'm not letting you cross! Go to the damn crosswalk! You're being lazy and stupid! Also pedestrians who just pop out from behind things like UPS trucks. You're going to die! I'm going to run you over and I probably won't feel too bad about it, you idiot!
