At first glance giving away BoI:Rebirth so soon after launch seems like a bad idea to me. But then I have no clue how much Edmund McMillen will get per download.

I basically worry and just want to man to succeed.

I started with Ruins of Kunark in 2000 and stopped in late 2002 at Planes of Power.

I started on Solusek Ro as an Erudite wizard who got chain slaughtered in Blackburrow. I then made a dwarf warrior but couldn't get past lvl 20. I stupidly spent all my money on a level capped executioner's axe instead of proper 1 handers like Ykeshas. I kept dying in Unrest over and over. I switched to necromancer, got to 35, killed enough Hill Giants to buy proper rogue gear. I made a gnome rogue named Popi on Ayonae Ro. I was in a guild called Exiled Alliance.

At that point Velious (the best expansion) had just launched. I got loads of affordable Velious twinkage gear and poopsocked my way to lvl 60 rather quickly. My lvl 59 only took 32 hours of non stop grouping in Howling Stones with high end players. I think I was the first lvl 60 gnome rogue on Ayonae Ro. That has to count for something. I had a fungi tunic, full sets of PoH/Kunark/ToV gear and a sweet Ragebringer. But my best piece of gear had to be the runspeed boots.

I stopped at PoP. The SoL models were absolute garbage and my gear was crap and no way I was going to go through the same hardships to get yet another armor set. I also had something like 10 AA points. I was tired of grinding. So I stopped!

Compared to WoW, the game was a barely interactive chatroom filled with badly designed quests. However the people were great and there was nothing else like it. And it had a decent lore going on. Rivervale was awesome. Trading in the EC tunnel was great! I even managed to lock people in the Freeport vault!

I thought Outlast's environment when seen through the camera was getting too photo realistic for me. Now this game is on completely another level. I watched Spookin' with scoops got a reaction similar to Patrick's GIF and I wasn't even playing. Who the hell will be able to stomach 6-12 hours of gameplay like that? Will it be Morpheus compatible for maximum heart failure potential?

Armitage is from the SNES game, the name is most probably taken from Neuromancer (a book everyone should read) which is in turn probably a subtle homage to H.P. Lovecraft's The Dunwich Horror ( a short story everyone should read).

Ryan and Jeff cover 90's stuff while Drew and Vinny cover bug-out bag stuff. Seems perfect to me. Maybe they could get a sixth man (Rorie?) to help Brad cover gross/dangerous stuff some more.

I just finished it. The main issue with the game for me is that the combat feels like a chore. Fighting bandits and soldiers was okay at best but dealing with the infected was the worst. I should have played on easy.

I would have liked to have a choice for the ending. I did not like having to kill at least one surgeon and a couple of elite soldiders. The whole game was so linear, I would have enjoyed a bit of actual role playing to go with the stat building and weapon upgrades.

But holy damn is that game good looking and polished. There is a LOT of level design and prop building in that game. The winter part looked amazing.

I watch movies and TV on Netflix, I buy songs on Itunes, books on Amazon and games on Steam. Now if only there was a Marvel Unlimited type of deal for DC Comics... I'd be 100% not a pirate.
