Brad, you're my favorite duder on the site, I'm sorry you've had a shitty year. I've also had a rough year too, but thanks for being one of the (many) great aspects of Giantbomb and for having an awesome and insightful opinion on video games. It sucks that Games can't be a total escape for you from you're personal problems, but I can assure you that you and the gang are a brilliant escape from mine so thanks. Great list too.!
A someone who plays alot of BF. This is a really good one. Maybe one of the best. Jeff should take cover more then he'd have a better time and be smart about his squad spawn timing. Its very obvious that Jeffs a COD player by the style of how hes trying to play this, which is fine, but doesnt make for a fun video to watch. But i get it, its hard to play and talk on a video. Team work and patience is key not run and gun. I totally agree about the menu's though. Could be better. No mention of fortification building or the new Grand Ops which is a shame. Both cool new features. As for all the "controversial" one armed cyborg women... all seems to have been removed. The customization is also toned down and more realistic. DICE mustve actualy listened to peoples concerns around the perception of realism. I really hope the Battle Royale mode is a success next year.
So glad someone on staff is giving this some time. Ive been absolutely loving this game. The nostalgia is strong. But just so happy its an actual game and not some paper thin side project. There are a ton of qulaity of life changes theyve made that the series has been screaming out for for years. No HMs, Poke Box on your character etc. These things needs to stay in gen 8 next year.
A desk and a site redesign, the end of 2018 on Giantbomb is scary. I really hope we dont lose things like community spotlights off the homepage because it an easy way to access it every week.
As much as I love the next smaller arc at the tournament, the show has definetely peaked at this point unfortunately. Hope you guys enjoy it all the same though. Id really like you to watch Attack on Titan next.
