I have emailed support@giantbomb.com about this problem three times during the past 33 days but they will not reply. If I would become a paying premium member they would take my money as soon as I hit enter but reply to e-mails regarding problems.... nope. Just ignore him.

I love the content on this site but I will not support this site anymore because of this.

If you want something really cheap (I bought mine for €199) but still good, go for the Canon EOS M with the 22/2.0 and install Magic Lantern.

@thejoolz: Not sure, just trying to find outliers to help find why your video isn't working. Can't really think of anything else. According to your javascript console, your safari is failing in the same way that a lot of other users on forums seem to be having, which indicates it's an issue with Safari. When you toggle the video sources, does that change anything?

But there's no problem with Safari, javascript or HTML5 videos on other sites.

I can't toggle video source because all I see is this:

@thejoolz: Strange! Works on mine too. You up to date on Yosemite? Any other details you can provide? Want to get this working for you.

Everything is up to date. I don't know what details you want? The only thing I can think of is AdBlock. I do have it installed but I have it disabled for this site. I have also tried it with AdBlock uninstalled but still the same.

I have tried Opera, Firefox and Chrome and Chrome is the only web browser that works with video on this site.

@thejoolz: In that case, make sure you have Quicktime installed and updated. That's one of Safari's requirements for HTML5 video.

I have. I can watch HTML5 videos on all other sites except here on Giant Bomb.

@thejoolz: I'd like to figure out the cause of the issue. When I use Safari on the site, I get a popup warning me I have to update flash, and then have to change some kind of advanced settings. Not sure if you've tried updating flash?

I don't have Flash installed.

@thejoolz: Strange. I found something on: https://code.google.com/p/gdata-issues/issues/detail?id=4697 which looks simliliar to your problem. I wonder if you were to open an incognito window if that makes the symptoms disappear?

Tried it but still the same. I guess I'll have to use Chrome for videos on this site.

Thanks for your help.

@thejoolz: Looks like you are using HTTPS Everywhere, or something similar. Try accessing the site on http

From what I found, HTTPS Everywhere is only for Chrome and Firefox. In Safari, I can see the padlock (https) when I log in but it will return to http after 1-2 seconds.

I'm really happy with my Panasonic GH4.

Video sample (not my video). Click on the HD button for best quality but keep in mind, it's compressed from 4K (4096x2160) to Full-HD (1920x1080) and 4.5 Mbit/s. It will look so much better with full resolution and bitrate.
