I got them all quite easily but them I played a lot of D&D... but no Orc, Zombie, Ogre, Skeleton, Wizard, Gnoll, Giant, Demon or Werewolf etc. Everything except number 2 is fair, that's in my opinion a bit to D&D specific though.

For me I feel it depends entirely on genre but there's a few issues I have with game length.

RPG's are on of my favourite genres but I expect it to be story driven, if its all needlessly lengthening the gameplay it doesn't count. Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9 and 10 are all good length, as are Fallout 3, Mass Effect, Star Wars: KOTOR, GTA: San Andreas and Lost Odyssey. I'd peg them all at around the 40-50 hour mark, and they all have additional side quests that could add maybe another 15 hours. If an RPG is less than 25 hours long, they quite simply fucked up as I've spent at least 80+ hours in all of these games and I don't feel they where padded.

Adventure games like the Zelda or Okami I'd be looking at the 30-40 hour mark and they generally deliver there. I can't really think of any action games that where not a decent length.

FPS's I'm very pissed off with. There are a few good ones length wise like  Half-Life 2 and Killzone at about 20-25 hours. These games are perfect length. There are a few games that are a little short but they're really good or have something unique about them and I'd rather they stayed shorter than be ruined by padding such as Vanquish and Gears Of War, (I know technically not FPS, but it's close enough) which are in the 10-15 hours bracket for me... a bit short but enjoyable mainly because I like their style. Generally though the average FPS is stupidly short. Halo: Reach - 6 Hours, Call Of Duty: Black Ops - 5 Hours, Kane & Lynch 2 - 4 Hours, Terminator Salvation - 3 FUCKING HOURS! This is not value for money and I don't care how good the bloody multiplayer is. If I get an FPS that I finish in the same day I bought it, I take it back to the shop and demand a refund for daring to sell me a bloody demo at full price... if your FPS game doesn't top 8 hours, it's a tech demo, not a game.

Action Games tend to be OK in length although some are a little short.  Ninja Gaiden and Prototype at about 18-22 hours are a good length (but likely more for Ninja Gaiden unless you're incredible at the game), God Of War, Shadow Of The Colossus, Devil May Cry 3 and Dante's Inferno where all around the 9-12 hour mark, which is a bit short but for those games it felt right. Action Games don't need to be too long as they have some replayability, I will probably play them through 2-3 times at least so if I finish it in a long weekend then I'm not too bothered. Still some games like Wet for Xbox 360 was 4 hours long, which is still far too short.

There are some games I expect to be short though. Platformers. Now sure a 3D platformers like Psychonauts, Ratchet & Clank and Rayman 3, I expect more out of than old SNES games because they're generally more involved, but the 10 hour mark for them works, because it's a more casual game (not meaning it's for casual gamers, but that it's not designed to be immersive and atmospheric, it's just ment to be a bit of fun, a fair few 3D platformers are very challenging). 2D platformers though I want them to be 2-3 hours personally. More than 5 hours is too much. I want to be able to play them all the way through in a single sitting, because platformers hold a strong replay value... I've played Sonic 2, Mario Bros. 3, Metroid Zero Mission and Donkey Kong Country loads of times, and they're still fun but you get into a rhythm with them and generally if I save my game when I come back I prefer to just start again because I've lost my rhythm. I probably play one of the classic Sonic games at least once a month, they're like arcade games or fighting games, you keep coming back to them over and over.

Lastly there's games that don't really have a length, like racing games, puzzle games and fighting games... they basically stay fun until the gameplay wares thin, so I tend not to judge them on length in hours.

So that's my opinion.
RPGs - 40+ Hours
Adventure Games - 30-40 Hours
FPSs - 20-25 hours
Action Games - 15-20 Hours
3D Platformers - 8-12 Hours
2D Platformers - 2-3 Hours
