When you think about it though how many people on other gaming websites judged GiantBomb in the first week based on the forum trolls we had instead of seeing the site for what it really is and has achieved? I know some users on Gamespot who still swear GB.com forums are full of porn, trolls, goatse images etc etc. And they haven't been to GiantBomb because they got told all this from someone else and like chinese whispers the facts get smothered in gossip and lies."
Well said. Oh, BTW its funny how this thread developed from "Is 4chan down?" to a serious discussion about it.
Demilich has a point, its like Fox News finding out about some violent video game like GTA or Manhunt and kicking up a shitfit about it. Next thing you know you here a friend or family member say "I hope you dont' play that terrible GTA game!", which is the same as someone talking about 4chan and only focusing on the negative aspects.
Everyone in the community hates it when people "outside" criticize video games in general with a broad generalization. Same applies here. Try to think more positively about this.
