Bought and played The Room last night, hightly recommended. Short, but makes good use of the tech in the iPad.
@wolf_blitzer85: You will still need a keyboard/mouse for those games, as it's just the Big Picture interface that will work with a controller.
@Twinsun: While, yes, you are solving puzzles in each game, the stories, the art and the voice acting in each of the games are very much worth coming back for.
Very true about those guys not being able to catch a break, but hopefully this will be the one that turns it around.
