@Ashuku: Thanks!, it's my first 'real' attempt, I bought a classical guitar when I was around 12 but never got into it, I was a lazy stupid kid and I didn't like music that much, now I'm clever enough to be amazed by talented guitar gods which I didn't even know existed by that time.

By the way, Rocksmith has been a pretty good 'game' so far helping me breaking the entry level barrier and getting over the awkward limbo where you don't know nothing and feel like a dumbass with a fancy guitar. It teaches you really well the basic techniques like palm muting, bending, sliding and it really helps learning chords and keeping up with the song while it throws you all that in combination. AND IT HAS NO LAG and I'm using a TosLink hooked up to an Astro MixAmp, which is digital audio, so STOP BASHING about stupid lag, the game is fine.

As someone who has played guitar for a long time, I think a follow up blog in a couple weeks detailing your progress would be interesting. You should consider doing it.

@Ashuku: I thought about doing that, I have a Nikon DRSL that can record video in HD but now I have a lot to study and a friend is going to help me getting a job as a jr consultant on the sw consulting company he's working, so between interviews, medical exams, college finals and everything I doubt I'll have the time to make some high quality periodical content.
