@weazman54I really hope there isn't a moratorium on Mr. Do coverage on GB. That's 80% of the reason I come to GB.

There’s a whole lot I could say about this episode. Instead I’m just going to post this picture of me from 1997.

I was introduced to Tom Waits in 1993. Mike Judge featured several videos from Bone Machine on Beavis & Butthead. It blew my 14 year old mind!

Curious if you can be a try hard at 14 in a tiny town in the middle of the Michigan rust belt.

Even at 14 I loved abrasive music.

Guys... Dudes... Wheel in THIRD PERSON?

That's literally the worst way to use a wheel. There's always a weird delay when using a wheel in third person in any driving game going back as far as Gran Turismo 3 on the PS2. You don't see your car responding to fine wheel movements until the momentum has already started. That's why Dan kept bumper Bowling and overcompensating.

I like using the first person mode where you can see the hood of your car.

To help mitigate the reduction in peripheral vision, you can spread the game across three monitors really easily.

@empanic: That was my bad. I committed the cardinal sin of commenting before finishing the entire show.

Seemed like everyone addressed my point by the end, and much better than I did as well.

Hope I didn’t come home off as an ass!

I find it interesting that this podcast keeps bringing up Pitchfork. Back in the day I considered reading Pitchfork as a character flaw. I forget who said it during the Jet episode, but the writers always came off like they were more concerned with self promotion than anything music related.
