I play without items because it removes the random part of the game. (smashball is cool sometimes)
I play on all stages though.
Having said that, everyone has their way of playing.

Hello everyone, if you're looking to play with fellow bombers, we have a chat channel for just that.
Click on the chat button in the bottom right corner of the client.
A new window will pop up and in the bottom of that is a create/join button.
Once you've opened that up type "Giant Bomb" without quotes and enjoy.
If you wanna join on start-up click the gear in the top right corner and mark "Autojoin on Startup"
