They should remake Discworld Noir or do a followup, replaying that I remembered just how tough the old adventure games used to be, without a guide it lasts longer than most RPGs.

He's not in ME2 on the PS3 so I wouldn't expect anything major from him. Probably just a brief appearance like in the previous games.

Bioware said Shepards story is a trilogy, so expect them to kill him off at the end of ME3 anyway, then you can not be Shepard in all the inevitable spinoffs.

Vanderloo is the reason there are no gay romances in ME2.

They had planned to let you romance who you liked, the voice actors even did the lines, there was Tali romancing femShep even. But when Vanderloo found out that his likeness could be use to romance a guy he put a stop to it, so they had to cut the femShep romances too.

I would say that's a bigger reason to dislike him.

Previously we reported on a PSN ban rumor which was followed by speculation on preventing bans, and today Dutch site PS3-Sense (linked above) claims that according to SKFU Sony plans to combat PS3 piracy with Blu-ray disc serial keys.

Similar to what's been done with PC games in the past, when you buy a PS3 or PSN game you'll get a serial key with it which you can use up to 5 times.

This gives Sony a signal that you are authorized to play the game and that you have a legal copy of the game, and the serial key only works with the same Blu-ray disc with the same serial number.

To quote, roughly translated: "From a very reliable source (SKFU) we have heard a striking new feature of the PS3. The feature would be present even at the PlayStation Network but is currently still hidden.

It is a serial system which Sony will soon start working on. Since the root keys are on the street you can see every homebrew tool (including backup management) make it sound like it was made by Sony. This makes it so hard for Sony to detect and block gamers with backup managers.

The idea is that soon every Blu-ray disc, with a unique number, comes with a serial key. These serial keys then work only with the Blu-ray disc with a matching number.

Therefore, if you have bought a game and put it into your PS3 you will enable it using your serial key, and thus a signal to Sony indicates that you are authorized to play the game on your PlayStation 3.

Reportedly, any serial key may be used only five times, as many PlayStation Store downloads. Given the implementation, according to our source has already been done in the PlayStation Network, and three unknown input fields on the PlayStation Network indicates the probability that this system will be introduced is enormous."

So, basically it means DRM on PS3. Once again pirates get everything for free while legit users are punished. If this is true I can't imagine Gamestop being very pleased. However I'm for it if it can keep people from ruining online games.

Towns, no Hope, open world, no Hope, new combat system, no Hope, proper NPCs, no Hope,  new characters, no Hope and more monster designs.

Also the ability to control all characters, not just the party leader.

Did I mention no Hope? ...or at least make him die.

@phrosnite: It kind of controlled more like an RTS in a way than an oldskool RPG, but I still really enjoyed it. From what I can tell DA2 will let you zoom out but the camera will still be locked to characters, so no freeroaming cameras to plan ahead which is a huge downer.

My only worry is the lack of true isometric view, I played all the combat of DAO in isometric and I'm disappointed the camera just zooms out. Playing DAO on Nightmare with friendly fire on was very tactical, it reminded me the old RPGs, this is going to be lost on DA2 which makes me sad. Will still pick it up but I get the feeling it will be the characters and story that make it interesting, not the combat.
