Someone already touched on this, but yes, you TOTALLY can strafe jump (and circle jump!) with every single character in Quake Champions. Every character (except Visor) just has a cap to how much speed you can gain from it, which varies from character to character.
@dunchad:The subscription-based business model in in QL got taken out in 2015. They took down the master servers and made the game cost a flat 10 bucks on steam (tho it's free for anyone who played Quake Live before it went pay to play). Anyone can host and join any kind of server they want with full steam workshop support for mods and stuff.
They can't take Quake Live offline because they already did that years ago. They took the master servers offline and gave the community the tools to host their own servers.
