@moe_delawn: Watch out for the adult content added to the world in later eps. I dont know how old your kid is but some things about Spongebob are best left unknown.
Wasn't saying that they shouldn't use a walkthrough. Just that, at times, Alex was reading it out before they had even discussed what to do or where to go. I'm also sure they discussed ahead of time what the best approach with this game in particular was. Just throwing in my two cents.
I know that there are fail states but they were saving pretty often.
Anyone else bothered by Alex looking at a guide and knowing what's ahead all the time? Especially in this game, it just ruins the collaborative puzzle-solving that the crew can have. I get using a guide if you are completely stumped, but I don't like that Alex is always looking at it in advance. I realize this is a dumb thing to get hung up on, but it really irks me for some reason.
Anyway, I've been curious about this game after hearing about it a long time ago so I'm glad they played it.
No, in fact i like that he is doing just that. Otherwise Vinny could happily sit there and bang his head again the same thing for the entire stream. And that's not a knock against Vinny he would have a blast just doing that. For me the viewer that would be frustrating to watch. So as far as I'm concerned Alex has the right idea.
I just came here to see if anyone else was annoyed by this so I'll double down on it. I agree that they need a guide just in case they get stuck, but often Alex doesn't even let them try all the options before he tells them the correct way to go. He should also wait for an "OK" before he throws out the answer. Love it all regardless.
