blogging for quests

Plain and simple, this blog was created solely for the quest requiring it.

One can wonder that has Microsoft opened a Pandoras box when they came up with the idea of achievements.
I mean that for me for example gaming on "non-achievement/trophy" systems has not been active after acquiring x360 (and then way later the ps3).
I also have Wii, naturally being a Nintendo fan, and while that system has great games the lack of achievents has resulted in my Wii collecting dust.

BUT this is not the only reason for that, also I kind of love&hate the controller. When they announced the classic controlled which came with Monster Hunter
Tri I thought that now I can get some hours into that game/system but when I realized that I still need to have the original controller attached to the new one
I was kind of let down. As I dont have a couch to sit on while I play it is quite uncomfortable to place the Wii controller somewhere while I play so its easier for me
just keep the system collecting dust and go back to my other systems.

Of course should the Wii have somekind of achievement system then I might be more easily pulled back. I'm not an achievement whore as such, I dont buy games (I live in Finland and we dont have game rentals)  for the reason they are easy to 1000/1000, I get games which I want to play and then look at the requirements of achievements/trophies after playing the game or during depending on the game. But I do like to squeeze few extra hours from games by completing at least some them.
There are some games I haven't completed because of them, I'm looking at you Star Ocean: The Last Hope. If the achievement seems to be too cumbersome then I'll just pass it, I'm looking at you Star Ocean: The Last Hope :)

It really is kind of silly to do these extra things but for me they have been a really nice bonus to gaming. After all nobody should care what their gamerscore is and just enjoy the games.

ps. I have to admit that being a single-player, I really really really hate multiplayer achievements :D
