Never played this game but I always heard that it was really well written, as in significantly better than modern RPG writing. Maybe it's just the start but so far it seems stiff as hell and very videogamey. Like ships exploding and generic soldier man is here to say "ah yes, I see you are *audible recording take change* a scoundrel, let me explain what a scoundrel is for 30 seconds, now why not use your hacking skill on this door"
Does the writing get better or is it just a case of grey-beards exaggerating how good the writing is.
It's mostly the intro thats like that - it feels like they didnt quite know how to tutorialize that stuff well. The writing improves pretty much the second you land on Taris.
The community spotlight is always a really great, well put together piece...
...but I'm not gonna lie for a second all I saw was the mass alex header (missing the edits) and got really excited for like a rare double episode week
