Okay, so, there's a DotA 2 update, and it includes a store for cosmetic purposes. Which is all fine, in fact, I might like a female Invoker or something like that. It also includes a $40 pass to get into DotA 2, which, along with the access, gives you some cosmetic items. I'm not sure if I really want to pay $40 now, and get a couple sets of items for heroes I rarely use, or just wait until it comes out and just buy it. They also have a TF2 (Team Fortress 2) system (surprise surprise). I say this because, when you play a game, you have a chance to find a cosmetic item (just like the dreaded hats of TF2). I mean, I might as well be getting something for playing, right? You can also now level up your profile, which seems to be based off of minutes played rather than skill and quickness of rounds. I believe the system is 1 exp per minute, which is fair to people who end up with awful teammates. Overall I'd say I like the update. We'll see what happens though.
