So after getting a big red desk for the studio to match the design of the website (and the red table in the podcast studio), the only logical conclusion is to strip all the red highlights out of the design (and with it all the personality too), huh?

OK look, I don't really think that this site redesign is a complete disaster, but I really question the decision to push it out of beta so soon. It just feels completely half-baked and riddled with countless problems. Not to mention, half of the site hasn't even been fully redesigned yet, like the forums, wiki and user-pages for example.

I think having the title of the "show" and the title of the episode on opposite sides of the screen (also in reversed logical order) on video pages is really stupid. I hate that I can't select the title of Quick Looks anymore to quickly google the name of the game and miss the link to the corresponding wiki page too.

The comment sections look super ugly as well to the point where it almost looks like raw HTML that hasn't been styled at all. Just some text with no margins between blocks and <hr>-tags between posts. It's all so squished together that the outlines of the badges for "moderator", "online" etc. intersect with the text below which make it look like there was absolutely no care put into it whatsoever. Personally, I loathe the current trend of making all avatars circular. Some might claim that it's good for faces, but not everyone wants to have an avatar with a face in it. Also the orange outline around avatars is not only totally ugly and out of place, but doesn't really convey that the user is a premium member, if you ask me.

I also miss the recent forum posts segment on the front-page, since that was pretty much the only thing I regularly looked at on there.

There is probably more that I'm forgetting, but let's leave it at that for now.

Hi, I've just noticed that a lot of my comments and forum posts have just vanished. (In fact all of them except for three, which I think is really strange.) Is this a glitch?

The post numbers in the threads seem to skip over where I think mine used to be:

I mean, it's not that important to me, but if a moderator removed all my posts I'd rather know the reason why.

So these Squarespace podcast ads actually work, huh?

If you're looking for the option to change your username on this site, it's a bit hidden, but you can find it by hovering over your avatar in the top-right corner, clicking on "Billing" and then "Change Email/Password" (or simply https://www.giantbomb.com/change-details/ ).

At least that's how it worked a few years ago when I changed my username, I think.
