PSA: Yes I'm playing these chronologically, and really only playing the campaign

Halo Reach is still a great game! Bungie's last Halo game was just as good as the rest.

It's amazing how these games have aged so well, I just got sucked right back in. It's been nostalgic but also I just have so much fun playing them. I stayed up super late playing it every night for a week (I'm playing on Heroic and I'm usually very stoned).

For whatever reason I still really love the weird lore of Halo and all that silly ass shit. Bungie just nailed a sci-fi world that is super mysterious and intriguing but also silly.

I think Noble 6 is a lame character with no personality and that sucks, but you've also got great supporting characters like:

- Gravelly-voiced guy who loves knives and possibly is okay with civilian casualties I guess

- Russian girl with a robot arm and short hair who is also a hacker

- Sniper dude

- Big Hungarian Master Chief with a minigun

- Leader guy even though the Russian girl seems to come up with every plan

- Colonel still image on a monitor
