@nuck:I think it has something to do with the size and scale of the amount of credit cards in the US, over 10m credit card terminals and somewhere over 1.2 billion credit cards in circulation which would need to be updated, I guess they saw that as an unnessassary expense?
Plus there's the problem of who pays for all these upgradres, you've got retailers, big banks and then card associations like Visa and Mastercard who all have to agree as to who pays how much to the estimated $8bn it would cost to upgrade the whole country.
At this point we're pretty much at the point where you can just pay for things with your bank app on your phone, I know some banks in the UK already do this.
This could be a good new video series. But brad is the worst. He second guesses every tiny decision and is always wrong about every mechanic. Vinny and crew playing this would be 100x more satisfying
Honestly his indecisiveness frustrates me so much! That and all of the on-screen prompts they both seem to just miss, I have to take breaks watching this because I just get too mad xD
