Currently the lists have way too much unused space. In my opinion a grid-like list-view would be really nice.

Regarding preferences, GB really needs an option to display content with different timezones. I guess it doesn't hurt as much with the time just being "off" for 2-3 hours, but if you live on a different continent, it gets rather annoying :-)
